Description
The Preface Written in 'The Professional Ethics, Accountancy for Lawyers and Bar-Bench Relations' [The Practical Training - III] is quite applicable to this book/subject, i.e 'The Drafting Pleadings and Conveyancing' [The Practical Training - II]. Upto the 1998-99 academic year, the 'Drafting, P;eadings, Conveyancing and Professional Ethics' was taught as one subject and the students were examined for one paper having 100 marks with three hours duration. The Bar Council of India changed the curriculum of LL.B. by introducing four compulsory practical training papers with effect from 2000-2001, i.e. (from the 1998-99 batch students, who are in final year in 2000-2001). This system has been introduced through out the country in all the Universities. The four compulsory practical training papers/subjects are:
1. Moot Court, Pre-trail, Preparations and Participation in Trial Proceedings;
2. Drafting, Pleadings and Conveyancing;
3. Professional Ethics, Accountancy for Lawyering and Bar-Bench Relations; and
4. Public Interest Lawyering, Legal Aid and Para Legal Services.
