, B.A., B.L., Enrolled as Advocate in 1949 and worked in the A.P. State and Central Government Services for over 50 years in various capacities and has rich and varied experience in vigilance, Disciplinary and anti-corruption matters. He distinguished himself as a judicial officer, Public Prosecutor, Legal Adviser and a Reupted author. He held responsible posts of Dy. Legal Adviser, C.B.I., Govt. of India. Legal Adviser and Special Public Prosecutor, A.C.B., Director (Legal), Dharma Maha Matra and Officer on Special Duty (Vig) Govt. of A.P. Standing Counsel for A.C.B. cases before the administrative Tribunal and the High Court of A.P. Recently he was also legal advisor to A.P. State Government and advising on vigilance, disciplinary and Anti-corruption matters.
Shri I.V. Ratna Rao, B.Sc., an Andhra Pradesh State Police Officer, retired as Superintendent of Police, Central Bureau of Investigation, Government of India after a distinguished service of over 37 years in the field of investigation and disciplinary proceedings. After retirement he worked as Vigilance Officer, Indian Overseas Bank, Central Office, Madras and later as Officer on Special Duty, Vigilance & Enforcement Department and State Anti-corruption Bureau, Andhra Pradesh in which capacities he drafted the A.P. C.S. (CCA) Rules and the Anti-Corruption Bureau Manual. He is Director, Vigilance Advice Bureau, Hyderabad which conducts seminars on vigilance for senior Executives of Public Undertakings from all over the country.
He is presently Chief Legal Advisor, A.P. State Vigilance Commission and he has prepared the Vigilance Manual in 4 Vols. for the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.
He is a richly decorated officer being the recipient of the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service and President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and the Home Minister's Gold Medal as the Best Investigating Officer in the CBI in the countryfor1970
