Author Details
Professor Hasan Askari, an author of eminence, spent half of his academic life in teaching law to the illustrious officers of - I.A.S., I.P.S., I.F.S. & allied services in National Academies of India like L.B.S. National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad. J.R., R.P.F. Academy, Lucknow and Railway Staff College, Vadodara from where he superannuated on 30th April, 2002. This book 'Criminal Procedure and Police' was first published in 1989 and immediately attracted the attention, of the progressive Director General of Police of all the States in India including the C.P.Os CBI, Interpol and the Bar. Very soon, the book went out of print.
