Description
PSA Pillol Criminal Law is one of the most archetypal texts on criminal law, ever since the publication of its first edition in 1956. With a section-wise content flow, this work adopts a unique approach to the study of the law of crime, focusing on both the emerging issues and the legislative as well as juristic developments. A leading treatise on the subject for over six decades, this work is a thematic presentation of the complex and multi-dimensional subject of criminal law in a lucid, comprehensive and systematic manner. The present edition, without altering the structural outlay followed in the hitherto editions of the book, endeavors to delve into the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Sequencing, with captions, of the chapters of the book is done in accordance with the chapters/contents of the BNS. A' separate chapter on Organised Crimes and Terrorist Act, has been added to the present edition. To align each chapter with the thematic framework of the BNS, the 'Background' section at the start of each chapter highlights the core essence of the respective offences, whether retained or altered.
