Powers relating to giving permission, accepting return, etc. delegated under the Rules, all forms relevant under the Rules and text of Prevention of Corruption Act have been given in the Appendices.
In the next chapter full text of CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964 as amended up to date has been given supported by all relevant Govt. of India Decisions under the respective rule, which have been further arranged subjectwise, so as to provide the complete and consolidated position on any subject at one place.
In the first chapter, we have provided the Conduct Rules In Brief, in the form of certain do's and don'ts for the Government employees, besides discussing some important requirements relating to their conduct.
Encouraged by the overwhelming respose from our readers and incorporating the aforesaid and other changes/ decisions we are presenting this 4th Revised Edition of Nabhi's COMPENDIUM OF CCS CONDUCT RULES alongwith Govt. of India Decisions, 2023.
Instructions on holding of elective office in a co-operative society, sports body etc. have been revised.
. Gifts from foreign dignitaries may be received and retained in accordance with the provisions of Foreign Contribution (Acceptance or Retention of Gifts or Presentations) Rules, 2012
• Ceilings on acceptance of non-ceremonial gifts by Government servants, have been increased to Rs. 5,000 for Groups 'A' and 'B' and Rs. 2,000 for Group 'C' employees.
