Description
The present subject "Company Law" is one of the most important branches of law prescribed for study as a compulsory paper not only for LL.B (3 Years and 5 Years Integrated Course), but also for LL.M, C.A., I.C.W.A., A.C.S. courses in all Universities and other Institutes in India. Originally, the law relating to Companies has been governed for the last six decades by the Companies Act, 1956, which is a mammoth legislation containing 658 Sections divided into more than 13 Parts and 15 Schedules. It has been amended several times i.e., 25 times, since 1960 to 2006 and the Act gas been repealed and replaced by the new Act entitled " The Companies Act, 2013" Significant changes have been brought about under the new Act to override/overshadow the obstacles under the old Act. The new Act contains 470 Sections divided into 29 Chapters and 7 Schedules
