Author Details
Dr. Sebastian Champapilly is an Advocate of the High Court of Kerala since 1985 and he has several reported judgments to his credit. A post Graduate both in Law and Political Science, he was awarded ph.D in Law, in 1996, by the Cochin University of Science & Technology, for his research work in Family Law. He was a part-time Lecturer in Govt. Law College, Ernakulam and a visiting Faculty in the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT and also in the National University of Advanced Legal Studies Cochin. He is a Member of the Academic Council of the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT. He is a recognized supervisor and Guide in the Ph.D Programme in Law of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and is a Contributor to the World Encyclopedia of Legal History being published by Oxford University Press, New York. He is invited to deliver lectures by the Directorate of Training, High Court of Kerala, While imparting Statutory Training to Munsiffs – Magistrates.
