Author Details

Y P Bhagat graduated in law in the year 1968 and thereafter started his law practice. He joined the state judicial services in the year 1975. After retiring from the services, he resumed legal practice and shifted to Delhi. He also joined as a Legal Consultant in NAFED, a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.
Y P Bhagat has authored many books on some of the most pertinent topics today. This includes, inter alia, Reformation in Judiciary, The Truth of Indian Judiciary, Civil Procedure Code, Civil Court Practice and Procedure, Law on Civil Appeals, Law of Confession in India and Abroad, Judgment and Dispensation of Justice, to name a few.
In all his works, Y P Bhagat has made an endeavor to break down complex questions of law. He has also discussed controversial issues and provided his opinion and explanations thus providing a platform for wider academic discourse.Y P Bhagat graduated in law in the year 1968 and thereafter started his law practice.
