Description
India's adoption of Ind AS marks a significant step forward in the accounting industry, bringing India's financial reporting framework into line with global standards. It is expected to benefit a wide range of stakeholders, stimulate economic growth, and establish India as a strong and transparent investment destination globally. Since the last version of this publication was published in 2019, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) issued some changes to IFRS/IAS. To keep up with the global changes, the Indian Accounting Standard (Ind AS) has been revised in accordance with the changes made by the International Financial Reporting Standards Board (IFRS/IAS). MCA notified the changes to the Ind AS through notifications, dated March 23, 2022, and March 31, 2023. These notifications are referred to as Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Amendment Rules, 2022, Amendment Rules 2023. Considering the significance of this applicability at various educational and academic forums, the present book "Beginner's Guide to Ind-AS and IFRS" has been equipped with precise, yet comprehensive, deliberation on Ind-AS and IFRS. ............................................................................................................................
