Description
In order to enable the Indian corporate sector to adopt the best international practices in a globally competitive manner, fostering a positive environment for investment and growth, the Company Law in India was overhauled and a new Act was introduced in 2013.
Efforts have been made to thoroughly revise the book in order to cover all relevant aspects given under the new law but at the same time just like earlier editions, the book is a topic-wise commentary of various provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 as amended up to date. Simplest possible language has been used. Interconnected provisions have been discussed in a correlated manner. Relevant statutory provisions have been referred to and, wherever necessary, the text of the statutory provisions has also been given.
