Description
There are new statutory developments which have had an impact on the law relating to negotiable instruments in India. Also, these new
statutory developments will surely meet the needs of changing nature and complexities involved in negotiable instruments. An attempt has been made to present an account of the underlying fundamentals in light of the case law. This edition incorporates the account of the statutory developments and case law that evolved after 2016 making the law of negotiable the instruments more comprehensive and updated. Especially Amendment of 2018 has a retrospective effect which is covered in this book. The ninth edition of the book would have not been possible without the assistance of Ms Anukriti Anand, a student of ILS Law College, Pune, Ms Nilufer Bhateja of EBC Publishing has provided all the support and technical assistance from time to time. She and Ms Chaitali Bose have been kind enough to edit my work and make it flawless. In the pandemic situation, online legal databases provided by ILS Law College task easy.
