Description
I remember being surrounded by law books as well as discussions on legal matters in my family from my early student life. The thought that I would be writing on legal matters never entered my mind when I was a student. Much less did I ever contemplate being involved in writing a law textbook! However, want to share that this motivation came from my father who agreed to assist me by contributing his legal professional experience of more than 50 years in which he has appeared in court representing clients and performed transactional work assisting clients in matters that have touched on all subjects covered in this textbook. I have, in my service of more than 30 years, gained substantial experience in handling how the legal system works especially matters concerning Arbitration and Mediation.
The present book on the Alternate Dispute Resolution is an amalgamation of both the theoretical and practical knowledge of the authors. The book gives the reader a simplified insight into the various technical and legal issues of the Alternate Dispute Resolution especially arbitration and Mediation in an easily understandable form. New cases and simplified examples have made the concepts very clear and I am sure all the readers would find this edition quite useful in their study.
Finally, I sincerely trust that you find this book very readable and highly relevant to your studies in business or a related field. The book will be found very useful for students pursuing LL.B., both 3 years and 5 years courses.
