Description
Till recently the thought of writing an autobiography was never in my mind. However, I was often thinking of making some notes regarding my family, conditions of family and its hardship in earlier years, subsequent developments leading to a fairly comfortable life with many members getting themselves educated and employed etc., so that the future generation of the family may be acquainted with the background and progress of the family. I have lived a life experiencing and seeing extreme situations in early years of life in a poor, backward and underdeveloped country lacking in even basic necessities and later years of life in a developing country making progress in various fields including science and technology and living a far better life than what it was earlier. This benefit is not available to many who have not experienced these extreme situations and therefore I thought it may be worthwhile for me to write down my experiences which may be of interest to future generations of my family and friends.
Though I was an average student with ordinary intelligence and capacity, by sheer dint of industry and hardwork, it was possible for me to become a successful lawyer. I thought this achievement of mine in my professional career (if reduced into writing and published) may inspire many youngsters with average skills and intelligence to take up the profession of law instilling in them certain amount of courage and confidence. Young students should not carry a wrong impression (which I did when I was a student) that a career in law is meant for brilliant students considered to be very intelligent. The story of my success in the profession will also dispel the impression that a lawyer must possess oratorical skills which are considered gift of God and those lacking in these skills cannot succeed in the profession. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................
